Protected Health Information (PHI)

PHI is not used for marketing purposes.

Clinical data and PHI are retained in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations and our BAAs, which typically require retention for a minimum of six years. Marketing website data (contact form submissions, analytics) is retained for up to two years.
6. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. This includes encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), multi-factor authentication, role-based access controls, and comprehensive audit logging. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS with SOC 2 Type II certification.
7. HIPAA Compliance
ReasonTele acts as a Business Associate under HIPAA when processing PHI on behalf of covered entity customers. We execute a BAA with every customer and maintain policies and procedures that comply with the HIPAA Privacy Rule, Security Rule, and Breach Notification Rule.
